Army National Guardsman Receives Medal – And Thanks His Paralegals

Not only has Army National Guard judge advocate Col. Brian A. Montague provided outstanding service to his country and his fellow soldiers while serving in Iraq – for which he received a Meritorious Service Medal – but he’s also a boss who appreciates his paralegals.

Montague told the Hattiesburg American that he could not have provided these services alone:

“I have been ably supported by three outstanding paralegals – Spc. Latorrance Anderson and Spc. Tamaleilua Mose at Q-West and Spc. Chris Gurley at Marez,” he said. “Despite my having done this for over 20 years, it is a real testament to the abilities of these three that they have taught me better ways to do things and have recovered my fumbles on more than one occasion.”

It is a real testament to Montague’s leadership that he recognizes the contributions of his staff and acknowledges that they are a valued part of his team.
