Paralegal Career Dressing: Visible Monday & Easy As

Easy As are supposed to be good, right? Well, this week not so much. Did I mention that I turned 49 last week? And that I *still* have acne?

And that AARP sent my first membership invitation with a card? What is up with that? Isn’t your age at least supposed to start with a 5 first?

So in retaliation for all these easy As, I decided to turn purple for Not Dead Yet Style’s Visible Monday event.

No, I didn’t hold my breath. I just pulled out a really old purple Gap sweater, added purple tights because I can, and trotted out my new shooties. Shoe booties, for those in the know. Not me, of course. The receipt said shooties.

I also enjoyed rocking out my glass pendant from Walmart. Every time I wear it, someone asks me if it’s Murano glass. Nope. It’s just a $6.99 piece of glass I took off the cheap plastic cord it came with, and hung on some random chain I found in my jewelry box. Tres cheap chic.

You have no idea how hard it is to take your own picture. Well, maybe you get the idea after seeing this one. Sweater (Gap); Pencil skirt (Target $19.99); Tights (Target $8); rialto shooties (Ross Dress for Less @$16); Belt (Ross Dress for Less); Pendant (Walmart)

Monday, I hope you have an apoplectic fit.

Very pricey piece o’ glass. Not.

Now you can see all the pretty colors. Stuff like this makes grocery shopping fun.

Best shooties evah. Comfortable. I’m thinking about throwing all my other shoes away.

Raise your hand if you’ve rocked jewelry from Walmart at the office.
