Paralegal Hunts for Easter Eggs at the White House

Paralegal Hunts for Easter Eggs at the White House

North Carolina paralegal Kelly Cortes has been invited to attend the biggest Easter egg hunt of them all tomorrow, April 5: The White House Easter Egg Roll. She and her stepson, Gavin, received special tickets as military dependants; her husband, Staff Sgt. Javier Cortes Jr. is currently serving in Afghanistan.

“We were notified three weeks ago,” Cortes said Friday. “I’m looking forward for my stepson to be able to maybe see the president or meet the president and the first family.”

Congratulations to Cortes and her stepson – and thanks for showing the rest of the world how we paralegals roll! (Sorry, couldn’t resist that one.)

P.S. The last Easter egg hunt I attended wasn’t quite so prestigious. See “Happy Easter to Practical Paralegalism readers!”
