A Paralegal’s New Year’s Resolution

A Paralegal’s New Year’s Resolution

Another productive use of my iPad while sitting in the emergency room with The Teen. She’s prone to pneumonia because of her sickle cell disease. As we entered the hospital, she said, “What a way to start the new year.”

I tried to stay positive, reminding her we’re lucky to live two miles away from a major teaching hospital, and given the severity of her disease, we’re not really there that often anyway.

I hope 2012 holds wonderful things for all of you, including taking good care of yourself and those you love.
