  1. I’m brand new to paralegalism. I’m thinking of getting my certificate. What other job websites do you suggest?

    Thank you!

  2. Thanks for the comment, Julie! I will be doing a blog entry shortly on other ways to job search, but believe it or not, Twitter is a great way to get an overview of jobs all over the country and to keep up with the latest in legal news.

  3. Depending on whether you are doing a national or local job search, use the TweetDeck application to set up permanent search columns for “paralegal”, “legal assistant” and then add larger cities and states to narrow down. (Keeping these search columns up also allows you to keep up with tweeted professional news, developments or just items of interest. Also is useful.

  4. P.S. Julie, ALWAYS start with Google, i.e. google “paralegal job city state”. It’s a good jumping off point, which will lead you to Craigslist postings and most of the major job search engines, which in turn will lead you to jobs not specifically titled “paralegal” or “legal assistant”.
