To Robin, With Love

One of my fave virtual friends, fellow paralegal and style blogger, Robin of Frannie Pantz, is getting married this week, and invited us to attend her wedding via e-Party. I am so excited for her. You can tell how much she loves her husband-to-be, and what a great partnership they have, supporting each other through good times and not-so-good times.

So for Robin, I’m freeing my “people dress” from the dry-cleaning bag (last worn to a gala for lawyers with $2 UK earrings from the Sears super clearance rack), and toasting to her family’s happiness with one of the hand-painted wine glasses The Absent-Minded Professor and I were gifted with for our wedding almost three years ago. Every member of my husband’s close friend from graduate school’s family painted a glass, and they are all different and wonderful.

May your troubles be less and your blessings be more.
And nothing but happiness come through your door.

Heck, yeah, I’m linking this dress up to Patti at Not Dead Yet Style’s Visible Monday! (It’s been on my Style Blogger Bucket List to get in the first 10 participants, and it just might happen this week!)

  1. I love, love, LOVE the dress. So funky! Lots of visual interest there. I thought the necklace was part of the dress until I clicked over to the other time you wore it. Fun!

  2. Love your fancy people dress! It fits you like a glove. So thrilled that Robin is getting married, it couldn't happen to a better lady. Hope I can squeak in an outfit for her actual wedding day, but I think I've got a good one for tomorrow.

  3. Aw Lynne you are the sweetest! Thank you so much for this amazing post, toast and fabulous dress! How fabulous that you are toasting me with such a special glass and used the Irish blessing! We are actually using that because Patrick is as Irish as they come! You're the best and I'm soooooo glad to have met you. Hope the teen is enjoying her recovery at home and feeling much better!

  4. Hi Lynne. I found your post on Visible Monday at NotDeadYetStyle.

What a pretty dress. You look lovely in it. It was definitely a find.

I also love the idea of your gifted wine glasses. What an amazing heartfelt idea. Since I'm a wine drinker, I can't think of a better feeling than drinking great vino out of a glass that was hand-painted by someone who cared for me.

    Cheers,

  5. I came over from Patti's Visible Monday too. What a great dress, perfect for a wedding. And your necklace looks as though it was made especially for this ensemble. Cheers to you and the wedding party!

  6. LOVE this dress! It's super fun and it fits you perfectly! I also love the glass and the Irish blessing is one of my favorites.

I'm glad to hear the Teen is back home once again!
