I know some of you are doing not fun very things today (summarizing depositions, woo hoo!), but that shouldn’t prevent you from looking fun, right? I really enjoy wearing this Bubbling with Fun necklace from Jada’s Jewels – and comfy sweaters that feel like bathrobes.

Pleione sweater (Nordstrom Rack clearance); No-name pin-striped pants (grabbed off rack at Marshalls in desperation to have pants for work that fit); Burgundy camisole (@$3 Rugged Wearhouse); Anne Klein heels (I’m pretty sure the Graduate Student left them at my house because they’re so bloody uncomfortable); Necklace (Jada’s Jewels)

I never thought I’d be one of those people that had wardrobes for several different sizes. About three years ago, I gained a lot of weight, decided to be satisfied with middle-aged super-spread because I looked just like my grandmother, and purged my wardrobe of everything size 4 and under – many classic pieces that I’d collected and taken good care of over the years. (I only have one closet, so keeping them wasn’t really an option.)

Dumb, dumb, dumb. Now I need those tiny vintage skirts! The weight loss thing is killing my wardrobe. I am eating, just not gaining. But I can’t purge my wardrobe of everything the next size up, and I don’t want to invest much money in clothes that may be too small in a couple of months.

Do you have wardrobes for several different sizes?
